Hey. I’m Hannah, and I’m a liberal feminist dyke. The lovely person on the left is my beautiful Kaylea, who’s a stone cold fox and also the most awesome person in the world. If you want to check out his/her Tumblr, just click “stalk my girlboyfriend.”
Anyways, I don’t have a specific label for my sexual orientation. I like women (cis and trans), genderqueer people, and the occasional transguy. However, I’m not interested in cis guys. (Believe me, I tried. That whole thing just doesn’t work for me.)
So, if I have to put a name on my sexual orientation, I switch between identifying as lesbian and queer. “Queer” feels like a bit of a lie to me, because it’s an umbrella term that I’ve seen used by some girls that are basically bisexual, which I don’t identify with. “Lesbian” also feels like a lie because it excludes certain people that I’ve been very attached to. Still, I prefer “lesbian” because most of the people I’m interested in are women.
Writing and singing are my two favorite things. I’ve been in choir for five years, and I’m currently working on getting some of my articles published. I was already paid for writing under a pseudonym, but it’s a pseudonym for a reason. Don’t ask what it is.
I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was old enough to read. Mostly, I write novels, articles, and short essays, although I’ve experimented with some other styles. My poetry usually sucks.
I like making new tumblr/texting buddies, so feel free to send me an ask. Bai.
